Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jaime Cuartio kicked off to start the match. Jaime Cuartio made in the 6th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ramon Vimaro. In the 7th minute, Juniors FC's Ramon Vimaro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Juniors FC's zone, Jaime Pardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Ixaka came out of the goal and Jaime Pardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Lucas Ixaka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Lucas Ixaka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 minutes of play, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Ixaka was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 18 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Escribano. Lucas Ixaka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Escribano in the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Jose Sanz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Juniors FC's Mathias Roganović quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Juniors FC's attentive Mathias Roganović managed to snatch the ball when Jose Sanz made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Covarrubias in the 29th minute of play forced Juniors FC's goalkeeper Lucas Ixaka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Primitivo Escribano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Ixaka. Juniors FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Primitivo Escribano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Hector Covarrubias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Juniors FC defense, Primitivo Escribano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Ixaka. The Juniors FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Ixaka should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute, Jaime Pardo made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Ixaka. Juniors FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. 44 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Covarrubias came free, but Lucas Ixaka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Pardo was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's goalkeeper Lucas Ixaka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector Covarrubias. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 53rd minute of play forced Juniors FC's goalkeeper Lucas Ixaka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Hector Covarrubias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Lucas Ixaka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lucas Ixaka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaime Pardo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Lucas Ixaka skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With his leg Lucas Ixaka managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Paraguay's Jaime Pardo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Silverio Maju hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Juniors FC's Lucas Ixaka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Juniors FC from getting a goal against them. Lucas Ixaka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jaime Pardo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Lucas Ixaka when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hector Covarrubias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucas Ixaka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Lucas Ixaka was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Jaime Pardo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jaime Pardo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. After some careless play in the Juniors FC defense, Hector Covarrubias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Ixaka. The Juniors FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Ixaka should have stopped the shot. Paraguay played a much better game than Juniors FC and deserved their victory. The Juniors FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
