When Aaron Alcocer fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Aaron Alcocer a yellow card for diving instead. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Di Wei's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. In the 8th minute, Hugo Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Di Wei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. In the 15th minute, Di Wei made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 19th play minutes Di Wei shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. A sloppy throw-in by Hugo Ferrant in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by The Mugiwara Boys's Tobías Olano. In the 26th minute, Di Wei made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Hugo Ferrant hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Di Wei in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Di Wei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Di Wei, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the match, The Mugiwara Boys's Yoel Melgarejo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Costa Rica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yoel Melgarejo was slow to take the kick. During this time The Mugiwara Boys's players had a chance to rest. The Mugiwara Boys's Yoel Melgarejo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benito Sanz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hugo Ferrant tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Benito Sanz. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-5 in the 36th minute. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The supporters of The Mugiwara Boys booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Di Wei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Di Wei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. The Mugiwara Boys's Enmanuel Amiot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-6.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Tasis to strike the kick off in the second half. Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Di Weis short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 58 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. Hugo Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The Mugiwara Boys's Selmo Bahamonde was substituted for Yoel Melgarejo. In the 62nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Di Wei in the 71st minute. Di Wei blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. If Di Wei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Di Wei came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Noboa charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliseo Noboa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, Di Wei notched a goal, 1-9, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Di Wei got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 1-10. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 93 minutes in the game, Di Wei fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Benito Sanz having to interfere. The Mugiwara Boys's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
