Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Fidel Jokin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Ixaka having to interfere. Rafa Santos Borré could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 19th minute Vipos FC were awarded a corner. Miguel Castanheira went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Miguel Castanheira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gervasio Ixaka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafa Santos Borré in the 25th minute of the match. Vipos FC's Gervasio Ixaka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play. Fidel Jokin hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafa Santos Borré, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Castanheira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Vipos FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vipos FC's Fidel Jokin got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Vipos FC's Jimeno Ibar got a free kick in the 65th minute. Felix Montenegro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gervasio Ixaka firmly grabbed it by the left post. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Jokin in the 68th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Rafa Santos Borré stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Rafa Santos Borré tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gervasio Ixaka made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gervasio Ixaka. That made the score 1-1 in the 70 minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Fidel Jokin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rafa Santos Borré sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Gervasio Ixaka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute Rafa Santos Borré shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafa Santos Borré in the 91st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gervasio Ixaka, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gervasio Ixaka made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Luis Andino sent off a good shot on target.
