Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Raimundo do Nascimento sent off a good shot on target. 6 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Patricio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 郝誉雄 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Raimundo do Nascimento scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 12 minutes of play, JIANGSU FC's Dylan Schneider made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If 何笑震 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When JIANGSU FC's Dylan Schneider in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. In the 23rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dylan Schneider got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the match, Dylan Schneider dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 3-0. If Raimundo do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 傅霆洲's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 傅霆洲 helped the player get up and apologised. 36 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when 何笑震 came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Raimundo do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, 冯亦西 managed to get in a good position for a shot. JIANGSU FC's supporters rose to their feet, but 冯亦西 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 43 played minutes JIANGSU FC got a freekick which was hit by 傅霆洲. 46 minutes into the game, Dylan Schneider recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Dylan Schneider showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Dylan Schneider came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 郝誉雄. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. After 60 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. JIANGSU FC's 郝誉雄 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 64th minute of play. After 70 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dylan Schneider in the 72nd minute of the match. The supporters of JIANGSU FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo do Nascimento in the 80th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute Dylan Schneider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th match minute, JIANGSU FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 傅霆洲 to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 何笑震 in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. JIANGSU FC fully deserved thier win.
