Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fulgencio Senen took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Van Halen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Gabirel Christbo got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 6thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Independiente's Eddie Van Halen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Independiente's Eddie Van Halen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milagros Fraga in the 8th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when 袁风奕 sent off a good shot on target. If Eliseo Mina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Independiente defense, Luz Tejedor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eddie Van Halen. The Independiente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eddie Van Halen should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Luz Tejedor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eddie Van Halen was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Fulgencio Senen took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Rolando Noboa to make any attempt to save it. Eddie Van Halen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 28th minute of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Independiente's Eddie Van Halen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fulgencio Senen hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Independiente's Eddie Van Halen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Fulgencio Senen lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Rolando Noboa. 47 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eddie Van Halen narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Milagros Fraga. Ildefonso Esiquio made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. 56 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Senen came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Eddie Van Halen in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute, Eliseo Mina reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eddie Van Halen. The goal made the score 2-3. Eddie Van Halen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Senen. Independiente made a substitution. 肖希谦 replaced 袁风奕. In the 70th match minute, Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Senen to maneuver through the defense. Peru were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Independiente's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Senen in the 75th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, 肖希谦 made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. After 81 minutes of play, Independiente's Fulgencio Senen made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Ildefonso Esiquio made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Ildefonso Esiquio made in the 94th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Arif Egemen Ahsen immediately put the ball in play. In the 96th play minute Rafael Gallo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eddie Van Halen. 4-5. The Independiente fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
