Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Agustín Tastzian got the match started through his kick off. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Fellipe Lago scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-0. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luiz Paulo do Valle was slow to take the kick. During this time Barrenta SC's players had a chance to rest. Luiz Paulo do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Barrenta SC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agustín Tastzian scored 2-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Barrenta SC's Patric Isaksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 18th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agustín Tastzian's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustín Tastzian in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute Agustín Tastzian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilmar da Rocha made in the 27th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. Patric Isaksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustín Tastzian. In the 36th minute Agustín Tastzian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Tastzian took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. When Rigoberto Mina fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Rigoberto Mina a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustín Tastzian. After having played for 47 minutes, Jose Correa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Correa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Barrenta SC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gilmar da Rocha hit a great ball. The supporters of Barrenta SC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Agustín Tastzian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barrenta SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Gilmar da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Tastzian in the 73rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 7-1 when Agustín Tastzian sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. In the 85thth minute of the game Agustín Tastzian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute, Genílson Leite ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. Patric Isaksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. If Agustín Tastzian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Tastzian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Barrenta SC had played much better football throughout.
