Without hesitation aimed to the right of Besim Özarı, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Besim Özarı to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 9 minutes into the game, Kamber Saraç was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sadikköy SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sadikköy SK's Kamber Saraç got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 10th match minute, Sadikköy SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kamber Saraç to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Besim Özarı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 17 minutes into the match, Sadikköy SK's goalkeeper Besim Özarı had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. In the 19th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 27th minute of play forced Sadikköy SK's goalkeeper Besim Özarı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Besim Özarı made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Behram Kayraalp in the 37th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sadikköy SK's Dariusz Nakoneczny got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Dariusz Nakoneczny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Behram Kayraalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Besim Özarı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Besim Özarı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Behram Kayraalp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Besim Özarı saved Sadikköy SK from getting behind. Behram Kayraalp's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. Besim Özarı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sadikköy SK's goalkeeper Besim Özarı, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Sadikköy SK's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Besim Özarı came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 90 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. Asım-Ekrem Yaman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
