Cassius Byrne started the match with the kick off. Beat Vid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute Bento Chandeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zach Harrison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anton Axelsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. 9 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Axelsson came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 11th minute of play forced Aioros FC's goalkeeper Beat Vid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Aioros FC were awarded a corner. Anton Axelsson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Anton Axelsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but USA's Marco Day did a great save. Beat Vid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 15th minute of the match. Anton Axelsson kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 16thth minute. Though ot was a great shot USA's keeper Marco Day was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 23 minutes into the game, Fabian Brown was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. USA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aioros FC the free kick. The supporters of Aioros FC booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Brown didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the last second Marco Day throw himself and got hold of the ball when Bento Chandeiro in the 25thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The audience was convinced that Bento Chandeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cassius Byrne in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beat Vid saved Aioros FC from getting behind. USA were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Aioros FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. USA's Cassius Byrne was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Beat Vid in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bento Chandeiro in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Aivaras Lozoraitis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aioros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aivaras Lozoraitis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Beat Vid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 40th minute of the match. The supporters of Aioros FC booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zach Harrison didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Anton Axelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aioros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton Axelsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Monty Rogers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Beat Vid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bento Chandeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Perón came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute of the match USA got a corner. Aioros FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cassius Byrne ran over to the corner to take the kick. USA's Jacob May was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Beat Vid in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 62nd minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beat Vid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Perón in the 66th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Monty Rogers fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Beat Vid, passed just outside the right post. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. After 77 minutes of play, USA's Edward Mcdonald made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beat Vid was left in no man's land by his defense there! 85 minutes into the game, Cai Jun Yu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marco Day was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. USA were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
