Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nebojša Bombis started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Mathias Souto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pekárová rodinka's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathias Souto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 12 minutes Pekárová rodinka's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Tasis who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Axel Tasis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pekárová rodinka's Miroslav Krištof did a great save. Axel Tasis in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Miroslav Krištof, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 19 minutes into the match, Pekárová rodinka's Mathias Souto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Pekárová rodinka booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Efrain Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 minutes of play, Pekárová rodinka's Nebojša Bombis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 41 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Nebojša Bombis came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miroslav Krištof made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Tasis in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Pekárová rodinka's goalkeeper Miroslav Krištof had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Tasis. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Tasis to strike the kick off in the second half. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Miroslav Krištof took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Lautaro Puig took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miroslav Krištof. Miroslav Krištof dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Rafael Pereira was extremely unlucky when he, in the 69th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Noboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miroslav Krištof breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan Rubio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 78 minutes into the match. Juan Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Rafael Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Carballo to maneuver through the defense. Despite being the better team, Pekárová rodinka failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
