The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Golo Dolar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Charmander City's Natalio Che was substituted for Alfredo Toth. In the 69th match minute, Charmander City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benigno Qwinton to maneuver through the defense. Julian Murillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tobias Reuters. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Murillo ran back to his position shaking his head. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Prospero Velasco in the 73 minute of the game. Tobias Reuters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Tenorio in the 96th minute of play. Peru were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
