Honduras's Luca Espinar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Júlio Pires, made in the 32nd minute of the game. 40 minutes into the match, Rockets's goalkeeper Benjamin Mazza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Mazza having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Sebastian Villa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamin Mazza. Rockets's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Villa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Milagros Cabal kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Benjamin Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 78th minute of the match. Honduras's attentive Sebastian Villa managed to snatch the ball when Júlio Pires made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game. The throw-in from Júlio Pires in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Sebastian Villa. A sloppy throw-in by Júlio Pires in the 82nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Luca Espinar. In the 83rd match minute, Rockets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Abelardo Rocha hit a great ball. Rockets were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Honduras's much stronger midfield.
