With a little luck, Cachoeiro-ES's Lauro de Senna got control of the ball when Romon Oliver tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Lucas in the 11th minute of play. After 12 minutes Jamaica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arthur Lucas who took care of the corner kick. Arthur Lucas made a great header on Cachoeiro-ES's corner, it was just that Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson managed to reach the ball for a save. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Arthur Lucas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Finlay Stair took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Lauro de Senna to make any attempt to save it. 19 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Lucas came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Leron Sale hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Ortiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Demonde Jacobson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Zé Roberto Motta came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Cachoeiro-ES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Roberto Motta couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Jamaica booed when Cachoeiro-ES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. João das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karlus Waugh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauro de Senna having to interfere. The supporters of Jamaica booed when Cachoeiro-ES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Finlay Stair took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Lauro de Senna to make any attempt to save it. Lauro de Senna made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Jarell Hill sent off a good shot on target. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvério Brodel during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 57 played minutes Cachoeiro-ES got a freekick which was hit by Silvério Brodel. In the 64thth minute of the game Finlay Stair who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cachoeiro-ES's Lauro de Senna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lauro de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarell Hill, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Leron Sale took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lauro de Senna. Lauro de Senna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javan Develder to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Jarell Hill ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lauro de Senna was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. Lauro de Senna came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Jamaica's Karlus Waugh. But to his dismay, Karlus Waugh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. Lauro de Senna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karlus Waugh went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-2 was the resulting score. Romon Oliver hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the match, Cachoeiro-ES's goal looked a bit too open when Finlay Stair came free, but Lauro de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cachoeiro-ES's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
