Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Jean Claude Ulysse was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 3 minutes into the match. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Haiti! In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Cachoeiro-ES. Arthur Lucas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Noel Seide. 0-1. Lauro de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philippe Ambroise in the 8th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Philippe Ambroise recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lauro de Senna. Philippe Ambroise showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After 24 minutes of play, Cachoeiro-ES's João das Neves made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Noel Seide was left in no man's land by his defense there! Haiti's Noel Seide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Lucas in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Zé Roberto Motta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cachoeiro-ES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Roberto Motta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 31 minutes of play, Cachoeiro-ES's Osvaldo Ortiz made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Noel Seide was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lauro de Senna made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Gesner Philippe sent off a good shot on target. After 36 minutes Cachoeiro-ES's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonathan Alphonse who took care of the corner kick. Ernso Constant was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 40thth minute of the game Zé Roberto Motta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Haiti's Noel Seide was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Noel Seide stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zé Roberto Motta's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Ernso Constant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Saint Jean Pierre fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haiti's protests and gave Saint Jean Pierre a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Saint Jean Pierre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Roberto Motta to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Zé Roberto Motta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Noel Seide was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 69th minute, Philippe Ambroise ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lauro de Senna was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. After a defensive mix-up in Haiti's zone, Osvaldo Ortiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Seide came out of the goal and Osvaldo Ortiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvaldo Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Noel Seide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Gesner Philippe in the 86th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cachoeiro-ES's Silvério Brodel. Haiti's attentive Rodney Emmanuel managed to snatch the ball when Luciano Abreu made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. Haiti's attentive Jean Marie Alcius managed to snatch the ball when Tiago Aparecido made a throw-in in the 91st minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Philippe Ambroise in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cachoeiro-ES's João das Neves. 93 minutes into the game, Aníbal Negri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cachoeiro-ES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haiti the free kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cachoeiro-ES eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
