Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doug Bermudez's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. In the 12th minute Uruguay were awarded a corner. Jaime Cazalla went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Maximiliano Escribano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aquilino Aguilera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Maximiliano Escribano put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Aquilino Aguilera. In the 16th minute, João Adolfo Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uruguay's attentive Arturo Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Ricardo Sidro made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Los Diablos Rojos's Maximo Cloyo got a free kick in the 19th minute. Francisco Seco charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Seco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Los Diablos Rojos's Aquilino Aguilera got control of the ball when Maximiliano Escribano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Los Diablos Rojos's Aquilino Aguilera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 34th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when João Adolfo Mota came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Doug Bermudez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Los Diablos Rojos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Eufemio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquilino Aguilera came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Francisco Seco. But to his dismay, Francisco Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 52 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Carballal. Aquilino Aguilera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Sidro kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Aquilino Aguilera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 64th minute of the match. Aquilino Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 66th minute of play. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Aguilera having to interfere. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquilino Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 91st minute of play. Doug Bermudez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aquilino Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 96th minute of play. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Camilo Franco hit a great ball. Uruguay were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Los Diablos Rojos for a fine match.
