Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 2 minutes into the match, Seguí FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Giotis Tripotseris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute of the match Seguí FC got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Meng Jie Chong ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Meng Jie Chong almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chile's Thiago Pliego did a great save. Omar Bieito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Thiago Pliego successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mariano Lacasa scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giotis Tripotseris, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Giotis Tripotseris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hassan Job in the 29th minute of the match. Giotis Tripotseris came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Bieito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giotis Tripotseris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Omar Bieito to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Meng Jie Chong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Giotis Tripotseris in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 56 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Seguí FC's Giotis Tripotseris. Giotis Tripotseris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Giotis Tripotseris in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hassan Job received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Hassan Job made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Seguí FC's goalkeeper Giotis Tripotseris, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hassan Job in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute of the match Seguí FC got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Meng Jie Chong ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Seguí FC's Bonifacio Bemabe to fire away a dangerous shot which Thiago Pliego despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 74th match minute, Seguí FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didier François to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute, Hassan Job made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The supporters of Chile booed when Seguí FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastiaan Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hassan Job, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Omar Bieito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mariano Lacasa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Giotis Tripotseris firmly grabbed it by the left post. 90 minutes into the match, Hassan Job had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hassan Job was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giotis Tripotseris having to make a save. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Seguí FC's goalkeeper Giotis Tripotseris, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chile's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
