Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Patricio Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sandro Tasso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Militros F.C.'s Samuca Recife got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 11th minute of the match Tomas Illescas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sandro Tasso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 19th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Militros F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diguinho da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Zanussi in the 29th minute of play. Nilton Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Tasso having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandro Tasso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filipe Zanussi to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Patricio Costa took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Sandro Tasso to make any attempt to save it. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Zanussi in the 60th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Diguinho da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Militros F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Diguinho da Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. During the 80th minute of the match Diguinho da Rocha completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Diguinho da Rocha a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 80 played minutes Militros F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Diguinho da Rocha. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Sandro Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Militros F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 91st minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute of the match Filipe Zanussi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 95th minute of play forced Militros F.C.'s goalkeeper Sandro Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th match minute, Militros F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilton Negri to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
