Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Vodanovic in the 7th minute of play. The throw-in from Madaleno Serena in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Emanuel Ocampo. 13 minutes into the match, Aurelio Vodanovic had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurelio Vodanovic was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 18th minute, Luca Espinar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Vodanovic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Honduras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Astrit Melisarov was slow to take the kick. During this time Almazarrón's players had a chance to rest. Astrit Melisarov made a great header on Almazarrón's corner, it was just that Honduras's Lautaro Navarro managed to reach the ball for a save. Aurelio Vodanovic succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astrit Melisarov in the 24th minute of the match. If Aurelio Vodanovic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Aurelio Vodanovic ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Vodanovic in the 32nd minute of play. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Archibaldo Candamil, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Luca Espinar kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Aurelio Vodanovic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Aurelio Vodanovic ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Ladio Font got a throw-in 42 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Amancio Harroyo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Villa got free with Franco Bellucci in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Aurelio Vodanovic made the kick off in the second half. Astrit Melisarov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Lautaro Navarro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Vodanovic, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Vodanovic came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 60th minute of play forced Almazarrón's goalkeeper Franco Bellucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Milagros Cabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Almazarrón's Astrit Melisarov came free and shot a quick shot against goal 70 minutes in the game, fortunately Lautaro Navarro had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Franco Bellucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Tafalla in the 72nd minute of play. Franco Bellucci came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Moises Tafalla. But to his dismay, Moises Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Franco Bellucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Ruisko in the 77th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Almazarrón's Aurelio Vodanovic sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd match minute, Almazarrón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Archibaldo Candamil to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Vodanovic in the 85th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Almazarrón getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Archibaldo Candamil hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Milagros Cabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurelio Vodanovic's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Astrit Melisarov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Almazarrón walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
