Jaime Pardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Apocalipse FC's Antônio de Azevedo got control of the ball when Jaime Pardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 25 played minutes Paraguay's Jaime Pardo stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Antônio de Azevedo stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Apocalipse FC of the goal. Hector Covarrubias ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 47th match minute, Apocalipse FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Gabriel Brodel to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 52nd minute of play forced Apocalipse FC's goalkeeper Antônio de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antônio de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Hector Covarrubias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Apocalipse FC's zone, Jaime Pardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antônio de Azevedo came out of the goal and Jaime Pardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Apocalipse FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Doriva Loyola hit a great ball. Antônio de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 65th minute of the match. Antônio de Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Pardo's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Antônio de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 68th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Jaime Pardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paraguay walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
