Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dario Hussain started the match with the kick off. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaafar Carrillo in the 4th minute of play. Abram Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Hussain in the 14th minute of play. When Teodoro Honrio fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leon Platense's protests and gave Teodoro Honrio a yellow card for diving instead. Teodoro Honrio hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Leon Platense's Dario Hussain slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Abram Sarmiento sped through Leon Platense's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ruperto Rainerio. Constantino Anaya struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leon Platense. 28 minutes into the match, Leon Platense's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Ruperto Rainerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruperto Rainerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Rainerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruperto Rainerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Ruperto Rainerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Leon Platense's goalkeeper Ruperto Rainerio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruperto Rainerio having to make a save. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Ruperto Rainerio made a huge save. Leon Platense's Ruperto Rainerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 58th minute of play. Axel Montenegro came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ruperto Rainerio could save by the left post. Axel Montenegro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Ruperto Rainerio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaafar Carrillo in the 67th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dario Hussain in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Ruperto Rainerio was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Joshua Garrido capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joshua Garrido really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Leon Platense's Gonzalo Adrio was substituted for Teodoro Honrio. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. If Dario Hussain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ignacio Mastache's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruperto Rainerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Ignacio Mastache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Ruperto Rainerio made a huge save. Hernán Leandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 86 minutes, Dario Hussain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leon Platense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Hussain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Leon Platense's Gonzalo Adrio got a free kick in the 89th minute. Ruperto Rainerio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pascual Carballar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 91 minute of play. The Leon Platense supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Colombia's performance. The match ended with a win for Colombia.
