Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxi Moco in the 17th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Basilio Garaona made a huge save. 48 minutes into the match, Robert Kaminski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robert Kaminski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The Venezuela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lamarque F. C. were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Lamarque F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Fulco Vizcaya. Basilio Garaona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 54th minute of play. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guillermo Mariano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Lamarque F. C.'s zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basilio Garaona came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 83 played minutes Lamarque F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Dalamodaka Obronny. The crowd rose to their feet as Maxi Moco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 0-3 in the 86 minute of play. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Venezuela supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lamarque F. C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Lamarque F. C..
