When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Daniel Zorita sped through Nytäppet Fc's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sture Abrahamsson. After 16 minutes Nytäppet Fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After 24 minutes, Peter Gustafsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nytäppet Fc and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Nytäppet Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Gustafsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. The corner ended in Luis Andino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nytäppet Fc's Sture Abrahamsson did a great save. Luis Andino did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Sture Abrahamsson 89 minutes into the match. Ecuador played a much better game than Nytäppet Fc and deserved their victory. The Nytäppet Fc players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
