With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dale Dolar in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. In the 30th minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Dale Dolar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Lautaro Mancebo scored 1-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patricio Ugutz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 39th minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Patricio Ugutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Barcellos Mineiro FC defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patricio Ugutz. The Barcellos Mineiro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patricio Ugutz should have stopped the shot. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dale Dolar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Macos Graciani hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute Dale Dolar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dale Dolar went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 58 minutes, Dale Dolar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barcellos Mineiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dale Dolar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luca Rouco kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. With a little luck, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Patricio Ugutz got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Patricio Ugutz made a huge save. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Patricio Ugutz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Patricio Ugutz made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Facundo Cadaval sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Macos Graciani hit a great ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Carrascal, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Gaona in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patricio Ugutz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 93 minutes, Joel Gaona made it 3-3 with a short kick to the right side. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Patricio Ugutz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Barcellos Mineiro FC made a substitution. Christian de Amorim replaced Wambasther Robben. Mexico were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
