After a rather tough play, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Amadeu do Nascimento got a free kick in the 17th minute. The score was 1-0 after a penalty in the 21st minute, where Los Andes FC - FSCMZ:s Gernando Azevedo tricked Colombia:s Pedro Manzanares with a difficult ball by the left post. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ruy Montenegro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Azevedo came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gernando Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Mastache. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ruy Montenegro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Ruy Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 28th minute of play. After 30 minutes of play, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! 32 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Azevedo came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruy Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Montenegro was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abram Sarmiento in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruy Montenegro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Los Andes FC - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Amadeu do Nascimento hit a great ball. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gernando Azevedo in the 45th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gernando Azevedo in the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gernando Azevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
