Dagoberto Loureiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. With his leg Dagoberto Loureiro managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Peru's Julian Murillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 15 played minutes Cöpacabana FC got a freekick which was hit by Diguinho Martins. After 18 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Luz Tejedor. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dobromir Brudnicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Cöpacabana FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Fabrício Berger hit a great ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cöpacabana FC's goalkeeper Dagoberto Loureiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Peru's Eliseo Mina got a free kick in the 27th minute. Milagros Fraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dobromir Brudnicki in the 43rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute Talha İstanbul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Peru players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cöpacabana FC were winning 0-1.

Dagoberto Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 51st minute of the match.
