Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolas Neto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 6 minutes into the match, SC Luzim's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Cadaval came free, but Nicolas Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Mexico's Alberto Tafalla fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Zarco got free with Dante Lacasa in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Cadaval to maneuver through the defense. When Lucas Zarco came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the SC Luzim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Zarco couldn't finish the play. Nicolas Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 21st minute of the match. Renato Ferrão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolas Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Salvador Poças recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa. Salvador Poças showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Joel Gaona scored 1-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicolas Neto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Neto having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 41st minute of play forced SC Luzim's goalkeeper Nicolas Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 46th minute of the match. António Lamego hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucas Zarco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Mexico booed when SC Luzim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Jorge Albuquerque left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Luzim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. If Salvador Poças had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvador Poças fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, SC Luzim's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Nicolas Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Poças in the 71st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Nicolas Neto. SC Luzim's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Luzim's goalkeeper Nicolas Neto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Nicolas Neto. SC Luzim's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Nicolas Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 87th minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Neto having to interfere. In the 99th minute, SC Luzim's António Lamego seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed António Lamego the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SC Luzim protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and António Lamego had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 98th minute, one of SC Luzim:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Luzim. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SC Luzim throughout the match.
