Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Enzo Totakoxe got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Gaby Batistuta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Languiñeo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Rigoberto Txerran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rigoberto Txerran was left in no man's land by his defense there! Enzo Totakoxe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rigoberto Txerran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Languiñeo FC's Enzo Totakoxe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute of the match Languiñeo FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nemesio Eliazar ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Languiñeo FC's goalkeeper Rigoberto Txerran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Totakoxe came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Totakoxe in the 33rd minute of play. When Desiderio Rutenio fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Languiñeo FC's protests and gave Desiderio Rutenio a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Languiñeo FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! In the 35th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rigoberto Txerran was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 38 minutes into the match, Languiñeo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Rigoberto Txerran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Languiñeo FC's Enzo Totakoxe got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antonio Arias's late challenge caught a Languiñeo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonio Arias helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Languiñeo FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Rigoberto Txerran in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A well done corner resulted in Daniel Zorita drilling the ball in to score 1-3 behind Languiñeo FC's goalkeeper. 63 minutes into the match, Languiñeo FC's goalkeeper Rigoberto Txerran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rigoberto Txerran firmly grabbed it by the left post. 73 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rigoberto Txerran. Languiñeo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Rigoberto Txerran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 82nd minute of the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Totakoxe in the 83rd minute of the match. Languiñeo FC's Eliseo Vargas was substituted for Gaby Batistuta. Languiñeo FC's Bartolo Izel was substituted for Enzo Totakoxe. Languiñeo FC's Victorio Frasquito was substituted for Ermegildo Abeita. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Bartolo Izel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Bartolo Izel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victorio Frasquito kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
