Leon Platense's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Grabiel Escorcia scored to the left of an out of position Ruperto Rainerio, making the score, 4-0. Juaneizu Merida didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dario Hussain went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Grabiel Escorcia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruperto Rainerio having to make a save. Juaneizu Merida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Hussain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 played minutes Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Xu Sha. 92 minutes into the match, Nacional's goalkeeper Juaneizu Merida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernán Leandro. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Juaneizu Merida successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Leon Platense's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
