Romeo Derwin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Melquiades Ladio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute, Dominic Solanki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ♛ ͲօէէҽղƒìҽӀժ ⚽️ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Dominic Solanki scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute, Dominic Solanki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ♛ ͲօէէҽղƒìҽӀժ ⚽️ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Dominic Solanki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute Dominic Solanki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dominic Solanki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 27 minutes, Dominic Solanki made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by ♛ ͲօէէҽղƒìҽӀժ ⚽️'s Dominic Solanki. But to his dismay, Dominic Solanki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. After 42 minutes, Aureliano Cristos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ♛ ͲօէէҽղƒìҽӀժ ⚽️ and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to ♛ ͲօէէҽղƒìҽӀժ ⚽️ getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Aureliano Cristos hit a great ball. When ♛ ͲօէէҽղƒìҽӀժ ⚽️'s Dominic Solanki in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After having played for 54 minutes, Guillermo Fiorillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ♛ ͲօէէҽղƒìҽӀժ ⚽️'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Fiorillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guillermo Fiorillo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Benito Sanz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 59 minutes into the game, Guillermo Fiorillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Guillermo Fiorillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when ♛ ͲօէէҽղƒìҽӀժ ⚽️ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Urtun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillermo Fiorillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. The throw-in from Hugo Ferrant in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ♛ ͲօէէҽղƒìҽӀժ ⚽️'s Melquiades Ladio. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Fiorillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Guillermo Fiorillo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 68 minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Hugo Ferrant in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ♛ ͲօէէҽղƒìҽӀժ ⚽️'s Teobaldo Urtun. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Jax in the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th match minute, ♛ ͲօէէҽղƒìҽӀժ ⚽️ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Derwin to maneuver through the defense. When Eliseo Noboa came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Noboa couldn't finish the play. Pedro Policarpio kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. When Teobaldo Urtun fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ♛ ͲօէէҽղƒìҽӀժ ⚽️'s protests and gave Teobaldo Urtun a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 played minutes ♛ ͲօէէҽղƒìҽӀժ ⚽️ got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Urtun. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Ladio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ♛ ͲօէէҽղƒìҽӀժ ⚽️'s Guillermo Fiorillo got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When Guillermo Fiorillo came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the ♛ ͲօէէҽղƒìҽӀժ ⚽️ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Fiorillo couldn't finish the play. ♛ ͲօէէҽղƒìҽӀժ ⚽️'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
