Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Åberg in the 6th minute of play. A hard shot 8 in the game by Andreas Carlberg from a close distance when the talented Jacobo Nores managed to make a qualified save. Paraguay's players were relieved. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Johannes Tidén kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Moodys IF booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacobo Nores was a little too slow when Johannes Tidén got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 24th minute of the match, Johannes Tidén tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jacobo Nores saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Åberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas Carlberg got free with Jacobo Nores in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Paraguay's Jacobo Nores got control of the ball when Kjell-Arne Åberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Brian May came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Moodys IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brian May couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Johannes Tidén kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. In the 38th match minute, Moodys IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell-Arne Åberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, Kjell-Arne Åberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Paraguay's Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Jaime Pardo made the kick off in the second half. Kjell-Arne Åberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Nores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. After 52 minutes, Kjell-Arne Åberg made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Åberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Jaime Pardo kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Pettersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brian May was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Azam Sum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 71 minutes into the game, Moodys IF's Brian May nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. If Andreas Carlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute Brian May shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primitivo Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Azam Sum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Moodys IF's Kjell-Arne Åberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Nores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brian May went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnabás Selymes in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Raul Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Andreas Carlberg notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo got a free kick in the 94th minute. When Brian May came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Moodys IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brian May couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Moodys IF fully deserved thier win.
