Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The throw-in from Primitivo Andino in the 4th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by New Joinville - FSCMZ's Durvalino Travassos. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Durvalino Travassos during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to New Joinville - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Durvalino Travassos hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xande Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Xandinho Kane reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-0. After 15 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xande Buffon was left in no man's land by his defense there! 18 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Xande Buffon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Xandinho Kane tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jacob Santalla was slow to take the kick. During this time New Joinville - FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on New Joinville - FSCMZ's corner Jacob Santalla fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Marquinhos Jacinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Marquinhos Jacinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Xande Buffon. New Joinville - FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 31 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xande Buffon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play forced New Joinville - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Xande Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 minutes New Joinville - FSCMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. With 41 minutes on the clock, Xandinho Thuram commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 40th minute, one of New Joinville - FSCMZ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for New Joinville - FSCMZ. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lamine Xande in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lamine Xande made a kick off. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 54th minute. The supporters of New Joinville - FSCMZ booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 64 minutes, Nicolas De la Cruz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New Joinville - FSCMZ and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nicolas De la Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. New Joinville - FSCMZ made a substitution. Emílio Martins replaced Durvalino Travassos. After a rather tough play, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Nicolas De la Cruz got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Lamine Xande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Xande Buffon got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Xande Buffon in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xande Buffon made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Xande Buffon made a huge save. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xande Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 83rd minute of the match. Cristian Sancho came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Xande Buffon could save by the left post. Xande Buffon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felix Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 90 minute of play. Chiquinho de Amorim's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chiquinho de Amorim helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in New Joinville - FSCMZ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! The New Joinville - FSCMZ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
