Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Valentín Carvallo. After having played for 10 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FENIX FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Edmundo Espiga sped through FENIX FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommie van Asseldonk. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommie van Asseldonk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thanks to some nice moves Dráusio Madureira could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Lautaro Navarro however easily saved by the left post. After 31 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Carvallo. Edmundo Espiga hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. If Severino Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Severino Alves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. In the 39th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommie van Asseldonk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Severino Alves tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severino Alves made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eurico do Valle during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 50th minute, Eurico do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Honduras booed when FENIX FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aloísio Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Alves came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 72 minutes into the match, FENIX FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Tommie van Asseldonk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 minutes of play, FENIX FC's Aloísio Arce made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sebastian Villa might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommie van Asseldonk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Villa ran back to his position shaking his head. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommie van Asseldonk having to interfere. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aloísio Arce hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
