When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benito Ariando made a kick off. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Universitario Pincharrata the free kick. In the 79th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Ariandos short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fedot Khokhlov got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Universitario Pincharrata played a much better game than Venezuela and deserved their victory. The Venezuela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
