Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abram Sarmiento started the match with the kick off. Ergo Muro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Mastache in the 3rd minute of play. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Caatiba MZC's Niceto Ihazintu. But to his dismay, Niceto Ihazintu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ergo Muro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delfim Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Ihazintu in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Ihazintu in the 23rd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Caatiba MZC's goalkeeper Ergo Muro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Ihazintu in the 29th minute of the match. Axel Montenegro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ergo Muro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Axel Montenegro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Ergo Muro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Ihazintu in the 37th minute of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Ihazintu in the 38th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ergo Muro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Caatiba MZC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 55th minute of play forced Caatiba MZC's goalkeeper Ergo Muro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Niceto Ihazintu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 0-2 in the 57 minute of play. In the 61st minute, Niceto Ihazintu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Caatiba MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Ergo Muro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Niceto Ihazintu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Manzanares. The goal made the score 0-3. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. In the 77th minute, Valdomiro Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abram Secada might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ergo Muro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abram Secada ran back to his position shaking his head. Niceto Ihazintu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ergo Muro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caatiba MZC played a much better game than Colombia and deserved their victory. The Colombia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
