Severino Madureira was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Facundo Cadaval capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Facundo Cadaval really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Severino Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Marcelinho Ramalho hit a great ball. Joel Gaona ran back to his position shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clemente Prestes to strike the kick off in the second half. Luís Paulo Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After 55 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severino Madureira was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 58th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Severino Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rdth minute of the game Joel Gaona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Severino Madureira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severino Madureira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0.
