After 4 played minutes Pragmáticos 1903 got a freekick which was hit by Kaká Fenomeno. Abraham Alguacil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amava Pintos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 7th minute of play. Aaron Barrios was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 16 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Panama fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! Panama:s Marcos Cotilla showed great skill when he stopped Pedro Paulo Chaves:s penalty. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pau Doku in the 20th minute. Amava Pintos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Cambeiro in the 23rd minute of the match. Amava Pintos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 29 played minutes Pragmáticos 1903 got a freekick which was hit by Kaká Fenomeno. In the 32nd minute, Miguel Miralles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amava Pintos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Pragmáticos 1903 booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Garrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Pragmáticos 1903's Pau Doku sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Cotilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Pragmáticos 1903 booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Alguacil didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Pau Doku was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pragmáticos 1903's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 47th minute of play forced Pragmáticos 1903's goalkeeper Amava Pintos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Panama were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Pragmáticos 1903's Tales da Rocha got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Amava Pintos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 53rd minute. Miguel Miralles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amava Pintos having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pau Doku, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute Pau Doku shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 minutes of play, Pragmáticos 1903's Pau Doku made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Pragmáticos 1903 getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Kaká Fenomeno hit a great ball. Luiz Eduardo Alves hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 78th minute of play forced Pragmáticos 1903's goalkeeper Amava Pintos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pau Doku, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Pau Doku left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pragmáticos 1903 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Pau Doku struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pragmáticos 1903. Ulysses Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Amava Pintos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 96th minute of the match. The Pragmáticos 1903 support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
