Rodrigo Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Antequera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Pura Arte F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Laerte Lucas came free, but Rodrigo Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Lucas in the 26th minute of play. Wilson Fernandez hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Lui Vandré could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Ronaldo Medeiros however easily saved by the left post. Ronaldo Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Kenneth Mager sent off a good shot on target. Wilson Fernandez hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olavo Matorin to make the kick off. Ronaldo Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lui Vandré in the 54th minute of the match. If Laerte Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th match minute, Montevideo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Antequera to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Montevideo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pura Arte F.C.
