The corner ended in Bo Edström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but A.A. Francana's Renan Melo did a great save. Falcão Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charlie Boström in the 24th minute of the match. Grentino FC's Falcão Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliott Bergsten in the 28th minute of play. Renan Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Simão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Falcão Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliott Bergsten in the 33rd minute of play. When Erasmo Simão came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Grentino FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Simão couldn't finish the play. Grentino FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bo Edström in the 59th minute. A nice corner shot did that Nilton Passos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Renan Melo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 61 minutes into the match, Grentino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elliott Bergsten came free, but Falcão Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Grentino FC's Falcão Sampaio got control of the ball when Charlie Boström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Falcão Sampaio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 80th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Francisco Secco. In the 84th minute, Erasmo Simão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Charlie Boström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Falcão Sampaio made a huge save.
