Grentino FC's Falcão Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tana Rede in the 17th minute of play. Falcão Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tana Rede in the 19th minute of the match. Tana Rede sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tana Rede in the 29th minute of play forced Grentino FC's goalkeeper Falcão Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fredrik Masculier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Falcão Sampaio made a huge save. The corner led Granadero10's Vítor Antunes to fire away a dangerous shot which Falcão Sampaio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tana Rede hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The supporters of Granadero10 booed when Grentino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válter Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute Granadero10 were awarded a corner. Vítor Antunes went to the cornerflag to take it. Granadero10's Tana Rede was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Falcão Sampaio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 45th match minute, Grentino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erasmo Simão was the one to do the kick off. Laerte Soeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Granadero10's Laerte Soeiro got a free kick in the 51st minute. With a little luck, Granadero10's Alfredinho Cavalcante got control of the ball when Gualter Sampaio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Falcão Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tana Rede, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Joaquin Xacintu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Alfredinho Cavalcante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredinho Cavalcante was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Erasmo Simão capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Erasmo Simão really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrik Masculier in the 72nd minute of play forced Grentino FC's goalkeeper Falcão Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Grentino FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Joaquin Xacintu hit a great ball. Severino Messias might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Falcão Sampaio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severino Messias ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Simão in the 83rd minute of play forced Grentino FC's goalkeeper Falcão Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86thth minute of the game Severino Messias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grentino FC's Falcão Sampaio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Norberto Simão kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After 91 minutes of play, Granadero10's Tana Rede made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Falcão Sampaio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute of the match Granadero10 got a corner. Grentino FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tana Rede ran over to the corner to take the kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Grentino FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Granadero10.
