Börje Skarkman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olavo Matorin in the 10th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Montevideo defense, Israel Frascuelo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronaldo Medeiros. The Montevideo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronaldo Medeiros should have stopped the shot. ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s Börje Skarkman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laerte Lucas in the 13th minute of play. Börje Skarkman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olavo Matorin in the 17th minute. Ronaldo Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Frascuelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Israel Frascuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Montevideo's Laerte Lucas got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Olavo Matorin made a precise shot to the right of Börje Skarkman. ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Montevideo's Ronaldo Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenico Faieta in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Montevideo's zone, Domenico Faieta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldo Medeiros came out of the goal and Domenico Faieta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 53 minutes into the match, ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s goal looked a bit too open when Laerte Lucas came free, but Börje Skarkman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute Olavo Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Skarkman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Fabiano Borel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ronaldo Medeiros. The goal made the score 1-3. Olavo Matorin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. MOC ⚽ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Cebrian didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91st play minutes Olavo Matorin shot 3-3, a short shot which went by Börje Skarkman and just under the crossbar into goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
