With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldo Crispín in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingo Bulnes saved ✪ XV de Umarizal from getting behind. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ronaldo Crispín sped through ✪ XV de Umarizal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Domingo Bulnes. Tiago Godoi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Valdomiro Ribeiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 16 minute of play. A hard shot 23 in the game by Fabrício Jardel from a close distance when the talented Tiago Godoi managed to make a qualified save. São Paulo F.C.'s players were relieved. In the 25th minute Ronaldo Crispín shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Bulnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, ✪ XV de Umarizal's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Crispín came free, but Domingo Bulnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. São Paulo F.C.'s Dirk Snabl quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luiz Fabiano Amorim, made in the 30th minute of the game. Domingo Bulnes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for São Paulo F.C.. São Paulo F.C.'s Tiago Godoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save São Paulo F.C. from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabrício Jardel to make the kick off. São Paulo F.C.'s Tiago Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrício Jardel in the 53rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabrício Jardel in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiago Godoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 55thth minute of the game Fabrício Jardel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but São Paulo F.C.'s Tiago Godoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, São Paulo F.C.'s Domingo Bulnes threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ronaldo Crispín, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabrício Jardel in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiago Godoi saved São Paulo F.C. from getting behind. In the 62nd minute ✪ XV de Umarizal were awarded a corner. Valdomiro Ribeiro went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 63rd minute of the match ✪ XV de Umarizal got a corner. São Paulo F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valdomiro Ribeiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led ✪ XV de Umarizal's Allan Winström to fire away a dangerous shot which Tiago Godoi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tiago Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Jardel in the 65th minute of play. ✪ XV de Umarizal made a substitution. Adriano van Beek replaced Fabrício Jardel. Domingo Bulnes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yaya Sow in the 79th minute. In the 82nd minute of the game Dorian Quadros made a throw-in which Ronaldo Crispín played forward. Domingo Bulnes was a little too slow when Yaya Sow got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 3-2. The audience was convinced that Adriano van Beek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiago Godoi was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ✪ XV de Umarizal fans cheered their team off the field, for while São Paulo F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
