After 3 minutes of play, Granadero10's Tana Rede made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernandez Gøl was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, E.C. Água Santa's Fernandez Gøl got control of the ball when Tana Rede tried to sneak it across the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Tana Rede dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fernandez Gøl, 2-0. Gafur Balkanlıoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredinho Cavalcante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Otto Stenkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Fernandez Gøl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Masculier in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Granadero10's goal looked a bit too open when Gafur Balkanlıoğlu came free, but Alfredinho Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Casemiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Gafur Balkanlıoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredinho Cavalcante was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. A collision led to Granadero10 getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Fredrik Masculier hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tana Rede in the 26th minute of play forced E.C. Água Santa's goalkeeper Fernandez Gøl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. E.C. Água Santa's Carlos Casemiro got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Carlos Casemiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute of the match, Tana Rede tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fernandez Gøl saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Enrico Santovito hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Fernandez Gøl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tana Rede in the 39th minute of the match. A collision led to Granadero10 getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Dráuzio Santos hit a great ball. Carlos Casemiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredinho Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Casemiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Tana Rede made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Hermínio Ferreira threw the ball into play from the sideline. E.C. Água Santa's Jonas Fernandes quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Vítor Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the game, E.C. Água Santa's Gafur Balkanlıoğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredinho Cavalcante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Gafur Balkanlıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of E.C. Água Santa booed when Granadero10 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermínio Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Granadero10's zone, Carlos Casemiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredinho Cavalcante came out of the goal and Carlos Casemiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernandez Gøl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Simão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernandez Gøl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. If Gafur Balkanlıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Granadero10's Alfredinho Cavalcante got control of the ball when Gafur Balkanlıoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, E.C. Água Santa's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Simão came free, but Fernandez Gøl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredinho Cavalcante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gafur Balkanlıoğlu in the 88th minute. After some careless play in the Granadero10 defense, Carlos Casemiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredinho Cavalcante. The Granadero10 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredinho Cavalcante should have stopped the shot. E.C. Água Santa's Frank da Rocha was substituted for Valdomiro Rosado. Granadero10's Erick Cavero was substituted for Laerte Soeiro. In the 94th minute, Otto Stenkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
