Água Santa's goalkeeper Fernandez Gøl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Deilmison van Basten. 13 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Denílson Magalhães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernandez Gøl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fernandez Gøl was a little too slow when Deilmison van Basten got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-0. The supporters of E.C. Água Santa booed when ATHLETICO PRaiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão do Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fábio Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Fernandez Gøl successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 30th play minute Unax Mudarra came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fernandez Gøl. 2-0. In the 33rd minute, Denílson Magalhães fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fernandez Gøl, passed just outside the right post. 赵阳乐 got a throw-in 38 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Fábio Coelho. Denílson Magalhães hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. E.C. Água Santa's Fernandez Gøl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save E.C. Água Santa from getting a goal against them. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by E.C. Água Santa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Betão Marquez was slow to take the kick. During this time ATHLETICO PRaiano's players had a chance to rest. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Deilmison van Basten was the one to do the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Frank da Rocha in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ATHLETICO PRaiano's Erubiel Valery. The audience was convinced that Deilmison van Basten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernandez Gøl was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 58th minute, Deilmison van Basten made a precise shot to the right of Fernandez Gøl. E.C. Água Santa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. E.C. Fernandez Gøl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deilmison van Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The supporters of ATHLETICO PRaiano booed when E.C. Água Santa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Seah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernandez Gøl came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten. But to his dismay, Deilmison van Basten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 94th minute, Deilmison van Basten made a precise shot to the right of Fernandez Gøl. E.C. Água Santa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. ATHLETICO PRaiano's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
