In the 26th minute Adriano van Beek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egídio Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Anderson Passos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Egídio Salgado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Israel Frascuelo came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Domingo Bulnes could save by the left post. After the first half ✪ XV de Umarizal were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Spencer to make the kick off. Domingo Bulnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Spencer in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Spencer in the 55th minute of play forced ✪ XV de Umarizal's goalkeeper Domingo Bulnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s goalkeeper Egídio Salgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Egídio Salgado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adriano van Beek's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adriano van Beek in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egídio Salgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adriano van Beek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egídio Salgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. ✪ XV de Umarizal's Adriano van Beek got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adriano van Beek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Egídio Salgado having to make a save. ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s Egídio Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano van Beek in the 67th minute of play. Egídio Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano van Beek in the 69th minute of the match. Adriano van Beek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egídio Salgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. ✪ XV de Umarizal's Damian Ostrowski was substituted for Allan Winström. When Dida Bittencourt fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s protests and gave Dida Bittencourt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th match minute, ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dida Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s Egídio Salgado got control of the ball when Lionel 梅西 tried to sneak it across the goal line.
