The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Arif Çelebi Ergener shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Zurawski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Les Pionniers de Touraine's corner Abraham Beauval fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lech Blochowiak quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Abraham Beauval kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lech Blochowiak. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Tanek Zurawski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustin Hamet in the 14th minute of the match. Lech Blochowiak came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Les Pionniers de Touraine's Abraham Beauval. But to his dismay, Abraham Beauval quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Raphaël Lallemand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Lech Blochowiak made a huge save. Tours Football Club's Lech Blochowiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Beauval in the 26th minute of play. Lech Blochowiak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphaël Lallemand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Abraham Beauval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Blochowiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abraham Beauval in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lech Blochowiak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tours Football Club's Lech Blochowiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Beauval in the 31st minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Tours Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Beauval came free, but Lech Blochowiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tanek Zurawski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Çelebi Ergener, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lech Blochowiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Beauval in the 37th minute of play. A collision led to Tours Football Club getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Eder Llorente hit a great ball. When Les Pionniers de Touraine's Abraham Beauval in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tours Football Club's goalie prevented a goal. The corner led Les Pionniers de Touraine's Gaël Thuilliez to fire away a dangerous shot which Lech Blochowiak despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arif Çelebi Ergener to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Tours Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aziz Koehler to maneuver through the defense. Les Pionniers de Touraine's Tanek Zurawski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Les Pionniers de Touraine from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute Arif Çelebi Ergener shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Zurawski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Raphaël Lallemand fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Les Pionniers de Touraine's protests and gave Raphaël Lallemand a yellow card for diving instead. Raphaël Lallemand hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The Tours Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Eder Llorente made in the 72nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Christophe Régnault. In the 73rd minute, Faustin Hamet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cyrille Jenny's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tanek Zurawski firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cyrille Jenny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Tanek Zurawski made a huge save. Les Pionniers de Touraine's Tanek Zurawski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Les Pionniers de Touraine from getting a goal against them. Lech Blochowiak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hervé Malaise, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Cyrille Jenny managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tours Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cyrille Jenny was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hervé Malaise blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lech Blochowiak having to make a save. In the 95th minute, Cyrille Jenny reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tanek Zurawski. The goal made the score 2-3. The Les Pionniers de Touraine supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tours Football Club's performance. The match ended with a win for Tours Football Club.
