The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobias Siggman got free with Qiu Zhi in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 9 minutes into the match, SILMONT's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Siggman came free, but Qiu Zhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th match minute, corsaire nantais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thibaut Bernadet to maneuver through the defense. When SILMONT's Thomas Albaret in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The throw-in from Mai Zhen in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by corsaire nantais's Thibaut Bernadet. After 17 minutes of play, corsaire nantais's Thibaut Bernadet made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Qiu Zhi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Freddy Escudié made in the 20th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Adriano Guimarães immediately put the ball in play. Qiu Zhi made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Tobias Siggman sent off a good shot on target. corsaire nantais's Melvin Passemard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Normando Fiúza in the 28th minute of play. Thibaut Bernadet's late challenge caught a SILMONT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thibaut Bernadet helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, corsaire nantais's Thibaut Bernadet got a free kick in the 36th minute. 45 minutes into the game, Mai Zhen threw the ball into play from the sideline. corsaire nantais's Chu Fan Qiang quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 47th minute, Marius Lebel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tobias Siggman to strike the kick off in the second half. Adriano Guimarães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melvin Passemard made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Normando Fiúza sent off a good shot on target. Qiu Zhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Siggman, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The supporters of SILMONT booed when corsaire nantais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thibaut Bernadet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Titouan Canals short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Melvin Passemard to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Siggman in the 88th minute of play forced SILMONT's goalkeeper Qiu Zhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nolan Pétiot kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. SILMONT's Nathanaël Lize was substituted for João Carlos Schmidt. In the 91st match minute, SILMONT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nolan Pétiot to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Pucheu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Qiu Zhi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 minutes, Theo Hernandez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SILMONT and the corsaire nantais players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of corsaire nantais booed when SILMONT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theo Hernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 96 played minutes, corsaire nantais's Mamadou Clermont shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Qiu Zhi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in corsaire nantais reached it. In the 98th minute SILMONT were awarded a corner. Adriano Guimarães went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led SILMONT's Freddy Escudié to fire away a dangerous shot which Melvin Passemard despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. SILMONT's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
