With an all-out effort, SILMONT's Zygmunt Bochinski threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Thomas Albaret, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nichifor Nimass blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Qiu Zhi having to make a save. Qiu Zhi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nichifor Nimass, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Qiu Zhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicky Larson in the 27th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Nichifor Nimass got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Normando Fiúza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nichifor Nimass got free with Qiu Zhi in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute of the match, Nicky Larson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Qiu Zhi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nichifor Nimass in the 59th minute of play forced SILMONT's goalkeeper Qiu Zhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Adriano Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zygmunt Bochinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zygmunt Bochinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Albaret in the 94th minute of the match. A collision led to Girondins4Ever getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Igor Thibault hit a great ball. The Girondins4Ever players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
