After a defensive mix-up in Cats and dogs's zone, Igor Thibault stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joe Camp came out of the goal and Igor Thibault tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cats and dogs's Joe Camp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicky Larson in the 20th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Nichifor Nimass took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Joe Camp to make any attempt to save it. In the 26th minute of the match Girondins4Ever got a corner. Cats and dogs's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gaétan Rémetter ran over to the corner to take the kick. Girondins4Ever's Gaétan Rémetter was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joe Camp in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Hamard in the 29th minute of play forced Girondins4Ever's goalkeeper Zygmunt Bochinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joe Camp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nichifor Nimass went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Girondins4Ever's Nichifor Nimass got a free kick in the 47th minute.

Gaétan Bouchard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Zygmunt Bochinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Hamard in the 55th minute of play forced Girondins4Ever's goalkeeper Zygmunt Bochinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gaétan Bouchard fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cats and dogs's protests and gave Gaétan Bouchard a yellow card for diving instead. Gaétan Bouchard hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Nicky Larson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
