Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Abraham Beauval kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Abraham Beauval nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Qiu Zhi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Abraham Beauval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 8 minutes of play, SILMONT's Normando Fiúza made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tanek Zurawski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adriano Guimarães struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Tanek Zurawski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SILMONT. 21 minutes into the match, SILMONT's goalkeeper Qiu Zhi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raphaël Lallemand. Qiu Zhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Beauval, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Les Pionniers de Touraine booed when SILMONT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. Qiu Zhi came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Les Pionniers de Touraine's Raphaël Lallemand. But to his dismay, Raphaël Lallemand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. SILMONT's Gwendal Aufrère was substituted for Thomas Albaret. Qiu Zhi made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Raphaël Lallemand sent off a good shot on target. When Normando Fiúza came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the SILMONT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Normando Fiúza couldn't finish the play. Qiu Zhi was a little too slow when Raphaël Lallemand got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 4-1. When Les Pionniers de Touraine's Abraham Beauval in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SILMONT's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abraham Beauval in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Qiu Zhi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Normando Fiúza to make the kick off. Les Pionniers de Touraine were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after SILMONT's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Léon Sureau took the corner. Patryk Kopacz was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Qiu Zhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Beauval in the 57th minute of the match. Qiu Zhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Beauval in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, SILMONT's goal looked a bit too open when Patryk Kopacz came free, but Qiu Zhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tanek Zurawski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Normando Fiúza in the 62nd minute. In the 66th minute Abraham Beauval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiu Zhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Qiu Zhi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Beauval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Qiu Zhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphaël Lallemand in the 69th minute of play. In the 69th minute Raphaël Lallemand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiu Zhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Qiu Zhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Beauval, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. If Patryk Kopacz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Les Pionniers de Touraine's Désiré Alberto was substituted for Patryk Kopacz. Qiu Zhi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hervé Malaise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute Hervé Malaise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiu Zhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Qiu Zhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hervé Malaise in the 91st minute of the match. Les Pionniers de Touraine's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
