Cosimo Mascia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafail Rusev in the 26th minute of play. Adrien Tanneau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noureddine Sanchis, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 69th minute, Valette Stars's Rafail Rusev ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cosimo Mascia.
