The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Emirşah Berkman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Emirşah Berkman slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 51st minute. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Santo Lano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 57th minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee ended the match the Ecuador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
